Life is Good!
Life is good--I mean especially good--these days for Wrigley. She's had a bit of an arthritic limp for the past few weeks, but she still wags her tail most of the time. What a trooper! She is as sweet as ever with the kids, especially Marci who loves to smother her with affection. I found her this afternoon snuggled in Osten's chair. He was sleeping off the stomach bug that cut short his soccer game when he came off the field throwing up this morning. He got such a kick out of this picture when I showed it to him after his nap.

Even the Dog (Part Two)
The new swingset seems to be a real hit!
In fact, the whole family is enjoying it!
And when I say whole family, I mean the WHOLE family. Even Wrigley!
Whee!!

Even the Dog
Gramma Sue is here! As Daddy pointed out and as you can tell from this picture, even the dog was excited to see her.

Every Dog Has Her Day
Remember Wrigley? Even though she doesn't make frequent appearances on the blog, she's still an active member of our family. She has her day on occasion, and she's even known to be tossed a bone from time to time!

Gal Pals
As of late, Marci and Wrigley have become fast friends. And if the numerous chewed up Lincoln Logs are any indication, Wrigley is in definite need of some attention. Marci has recently become her biggest fan . . .
. . . and the affection seems to be mutual!

Crumb Club
Shortly after getting home tonight from Christmas at Aunt Ang's, I found Marci and Wrigley in the kitchen amidst a pile of vanilla-wafer crumbs.
It was hard to tell who instigated the crumb calamity, but it was quite clear that both girls were enjoying the vanilla-flavored fruits of their joint labor.
With Wrigley as the lookout while Marci guarded the bag of wafer-shaped loot, they were apparently working in tandem to ensure the secrecy of what I can only assume is a newly founded crumb club.
Marci certainly seemed shocked at being discovered sitting on a pile of incriminating evidence. Neither hand nor paw was caught in the cookie jar so to speak, but the trail of crumbs from the pantry lead me right to the crumb-snatching culprits. Thank goodness they were apprehended before they got into the syrup!

Girls Rule
Here's Wrigley doing a little girl-bonding with Marci this morning.
They're clearly on their way to becoming fast friends. With the count now at 3-2, it's become official that girls rule in this household!
