Helmet Head

When I count my blessings, one of the most unexpected ones is a little boy who loves to wear his helmet.  Or, more likely, a little boy who remembers to put on his hemet but forgets to take it off.  Either way, I'm grateful to have his little head protected.  Especially now that he's getting to be more and more adventurous on his bike.  This shot is from a spill he took earlier this week that resulted in a skinned elbow and a torn shirt.  Of course, it was a brand new uniform shirt.  Needless to say and for more reasons than one,
I thought it was worthy of picture.

Here's a shot from another day . . . doing homework (Marci isnsists that she have work to do, too) after riding bikes after school.

And another shot of a silly boy hiding behind his popsicle stick.

He'll even eat a meal complete with pudding and a popsicle without removing his helmet.  At this point, I'm pretty much convinced that he'd bathe and sleep in his helmet if we didn't remind him to remove it.
Yes, I am definitely blessed!
