Quiet Time

We've been thinking about phasing out Osten's nap lately, and I decided that we'd give it a shot this afternoon with our first "quiet time" session. Osten was completely on board with the idea, and he was adamant about playing anywhere in his room other than his bed since he was absolutely not going to be taking a nap. Well, it sounded like a plan to me . . .

When quiet time became especially, um, quiet, I went back to his room to take a peek. As promised, he was nowhere near his bed, but he was sound asleep. He didn't even so much as flinch when I snapped this picture. No wonder he was so quiet!
