Here We Grow . . . AGAIN!

Marci had her two-year checkup this morning. She got a great bill of health as well as confirmation that she's recovered from the virus that had her down for most of last week. (Atta, girl!!) Here's her stats:

Weight: 30 lb. 2 oz. (84%)

Length: 34.5 inches (63%)

Head: 49.5 cm (92%)

Doctor Stone's assessment went something like this: Her weight's been steady in the 80th percentile, but she's now above average for height for the first time. As for her head, well--and I quote--she's always had a big head!

Osten came with us, and both kids got the Flu Mist vaccine. The nurse (who we just love!) got them all worked up by telling them that she was going to put something in their nose that tasted like bubblegum or ice cream. With all of their squealing, you would have thought that we were at an amusement park! They couldn't wait for a taste. Their assessments? Osten's was bubblegum, and Marci's was candy. Oh, and speaking of candy, they were thrilled when they each got a small bag of M&Ms out of the Halloween candy bowl on our way out of the office. Suddenly, the H1N1 vaccine seems a little less dreadful . . .
